Typically Not. Most Truck Agent's are non-exclusive. There are some companies that require exclusivity and usually disclose that upon signing a contract. The benefit of a non-exclusive contract is that you are not limited to only one company. In our class we discuss this thoroughly and also offer the student the right to choose from the participating companies we represent. While it is strictly our opinion to not recommend exclusive contracts, we are not lawyers and suggest that you consult with an attorney for legal advice.
